Sri Lanka, an island in the Indian Ocean and located south of the Indian subcontinent, is also known as the Island of Serendipity. Sri Lanka lies between 5° 55' and 9° 55' north of the equator and between the eastern longitudes 79° 42' and 81° 52'. From North to South it has a maximum length of 435 km and at its widest point it measures 225 km, giving it a land area of 65,600 sq.km. This entire stretch encompasses beautiful tropical beaches, verdant vegetation, ancient monuments and a thousand delights to please all tastes.

Sri Lanka is one of the best Island to watching Whales and Dolphins in the world. Dondra Point of down south in Sri Lanka is the main port of Whale Watching in Sri Lanka during December to April. From Galle, Unawatuna, Weligama, Mirissa and Tangalle which are popular beach locations in Sri Lanka and these places you can reach easily to Dondra point. Out of these months December, January and April are the peak months for whale watching. During these months there are 95% chances of spotting Sperm Whales and great chances of watching Blue Whales as their migration path is just off Dondra Point. Also there are good chances of spotting Spinner Dolphins also off Dondra.

Kalpitiya is 4 hours drive from Colombo and 3 hours drive from Colombo Bandaranayake International Airport. Kalpitiya is the best places if you are interested in seeing Dolphins. During November to March is the best season to go Dolphin Watching off Kalpitiya.

After early breakfast proceed from the Hotel at 06.00hrs to see the Dolphin by Boat (2-3hrs Journey)

Afternoon return to hotel

3 - DAY: Tuesday - Kalpitiya - Anuradhapura

After breakfast proceed to Anuradhapura to visit the Cultural sites in Sri Lanka

Anuradhapura, visit the ruins of the first capital founded in the 05th century BC here is found the largest number of ancient monuments of a great civilization. "Sri Mahabodhi" the oldest historically documented tree in the world is over 2200 years. There are monuments such as Ruwanveliseya dageba, 2nd century BC with its famous Elephant wall Thuparama dageba 3rd century BC

4 - DAY: Wednesday - Anuradhapura - Sigiriya - Kandy

After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya to climb the Sigiriya Rock

Sigiriya, which is home to the 5th century "Fortress in the sky". On its summit are the foundations of what was once a great and sumptuous palace and garden. On one of the stairways is the only known ancient work of Sinhala secular painting survived in the form of frescoes of life sized damsels in all the freshness and delicacy of their original color.

And after return to Kandy with en route visit the Spice Garden in Matale

Evening enjoy a cultural show, after which you will visit the famed Temple of the Tooth. It is an important shrine for Buddhists as it holds the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha

DAY: Wednesday - Anuradhapura - Sigiriya - Kandy

6 - DAY: Thursday - Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast drive to Nuwara Eliya, the popular hill-resort deep in the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country with its refreshing climate and stunning scenery. There’s a visit to a tea plantation and a tea factory included en route, to observe the processes of manufacturing tea, from the tender green tips picked to the grading and packing. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea to check the quality in the factory!.

Nuwara Eliya is Sri Lanka s highest mountain, Pidurutalagala (8282 feet) and you may see some of the dramatic waterfalls in this region, against the green mountain slopes. The rest of today will be at leisure for you to enjoy perhaps a walk or just soaking up the scenery

Colombo is the hub of commerce and administration of Sri Lanka. Colombo was a fort city during the times of occupation by successive European powers and architecture of buildings is a blend of the past influences. Highlight places of visit include the Colombo Museum, the Independence Square, and Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Town Hall and Parliament.
